I really like staying here the guys that you check in with are super nice. The rooms are super clean. The parking lot and sidewalks has a great curb appeal very clean overall it was a great stay. This makes my third time stay in there and the next time I go back to Florida, I will stay again And the hotel prices are very good compared to some of the others.

I stayed here with my family as a cheap option just to rest from our road trip but it was a mistake. The hotel is advertised as San Marco Inn East however upon arrival its named Emerson Inn on the building. The lobby was very tiny and the check in process was one of the weirdest experiences. They use this kiosk with a live attendant to check you in even though there is someone there in person? and it was not functioning properly, the in person attendant asked me for my card and proceeded to hold in in his hand and show the man on the kiosk through the camera and ask him to take my card number down to "TEST" my card even though the room was already paid prior through a 3rd party. While he waited for the kiosk attendant he just stared at my credit card for so long, it just left us feeling very uneasy. The rooms were okay, what you would expect for the price. Sticky carpets, stained linen, and weird smells.

A pleasant surprise to me

So I got to the facility and had just checked out of a ritzy hotel that could not accommodate an extra day. I never have done an in but they had availability and I had no where else to go. I got there and the guy at the front desk was super sweet, and even helped me get my bags to my room. It was not the Ritz, but as an infection control nurse, it was very clean, and very nice for the accommodation. The room was immaculate and the TV was a smart TV. I had a good nights stay and slept well until time to check out and the front desk attendant took the time to make sure I was alright and had a good experience. If you need a place to stay and are on a budget, or just end up with everyone being full, it truly is the place to go. They work hard to make sure everything is clean and updated. As an infection control expert, as well as a little boogie traveler. I can say I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I did not expect the small touches to detail, and it made all the difference.
