My husband and I found the house very nice, clean, and met all our needs. We had my brother-in-law and wife (they live in Costa Rica) they also were impressed with the house and resort. This is a really lovely home with a super responsive host and property manager. We had a few minor issues which were promptly addressed but overall the house is super comfortable with amazing beds, beautiful decor and literally a two minute walk to the beach. It’s a surfer beach, so not great for swimming, but we managed to get in some great boogie boarding. The pool is huge and wasn’t crowded while we were there and plenty of shade on the beach. Super safe, and just breathtaking sunsets! Will be back!!

Hermosa Palms

Home is beautiful, private pool is great, community pool, bar and beach are nice. Gated community with full time security is wonderful. Only minor complaint is water pressure is low, don't know if just this house of whole community. Overall great place to vacation.

Marco, Property Manager

The home was perfect for our family, nice location and clean. However, contact with Marco was terrible! He did not meet us at the property and no instructions were left. We did not have hot water and one shower was not working, only a small stream of water, no hot water was flowing from any sink or bath. Everyone took cold showers the first night and Marco would not reply to any messages. Someone stayed at the property the next day hoping for an answer and resolution from Marco. Someone did show up but was no help and we heard nothing from Marco. That night, my husband discovered the water heater had not been turned on so he resolved that issue. However, one shower was still unusable because pipe was leaking. Finally, Marco did come by but hadn’t let us know he was coming so my husband wasn’t there to speak with him. He supposedly made a repair but shower wasn’t working any better. Finally, another family member took it upon themselves to try and fix the problem. Still no response from Marco. We have texts upon texts to him with no replies! No instructions were left about trash disposal so we contacted the guard shack and they told us where to take it. Honestly, the building was scary! Trash strewn everywhere and I’m sure there were many critters living in the filth. Needless to say only one trip was made there. At this point we were exhausted trying to reach Marco and just gave up! We’d already spent two days trying to get a response. All in all, Marco needs to go

Great location!

The location is great! The gated community where the house is is beautiful, clean and safe. The club house pool is great for kids. The house itself is very spacious. The house is a little neglected, the sheets are stained, the towels are ripped, the curtains are falling apart. The walls are stained and the house smelled very moldy. For the price is ok. The manager Marco responded very quickly every time we needed him. They don’t offer housekeeping every day like in other rentals.

1st time

Loved the house. Close to the beach and pool and everything was great and clean. We did have some large dead bugs in the house but the fact that they were dead proved something had been done about them. The place was well equipped, well designed and the large rooms and open space was nice. Only flaw I can really say is the back yard has virtually No privacy from the neighbors on all sides. I would definitely stay here again with more people.
