Amazing

Absolutely wonderful artfully appointed decor in a sea of tranquility. The whole experience was beyond expectation. The room was spacious and the bed provided the most comfortable and restful sleep. The staff were the best thing and went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. Modi was lovely and attended our every need and the lovely concierge was also fantastic.

A gem in the city

Fantastic staycay! It was great service and we had the most beautiful room. Our room faces the city so we were able to see the jets flying in during Hari Merdeka.

We stayed at The Orient for a week as part of of our trip to South East Asia. The hotel was centrally located in Jakarta making it easy to access amenities, sightseeing spots, and get a feel for the city. The two pools (on the 5th and 32nd floors) provided spectacular views of downtown. The entire hotel is very stylishly designed and great thought has gone into the detail of the rooms, the corridors and the restaurants. The library is a like a gentleman's club. The jasmine scented corridors were an olfactory delight. Every meal we had was great and the staff could not do enough for us. Some standouts were Sarah and Robin in reception and Daffa, Fahrul, and Aditya in the restaurant. The Sandjong Spa and its therapists (Fitria, Sarah, Nathania and Navitta) were professional and experienced despite their youth. All in all a great stay.
