Beautiful view and remote yet close to Boulder. Greeted by a tray of fresh cookies and some other goodies. Very quiet and nice dark sky spot for star gazing. Lots of room to spread out. We had a bit of a hard time finding the place but once we got used to the windy gravel road it was fine. The host was very responsive and helpful. The Mercantile in Jamestown is a great place to eat and listen to live music.

Porphyry Mountain View

The host was delightful. The view was impressive. The house is funky, a perfect Jamestown eyrie, high up and intriguing. My only reservation is that the steep road can be scary in icy conditions.
