Took my two kids on a roadtrip to Columbia State Park. Stayed here and then move to the Lumberjack in Sonora, which was great. Not sure where the good reviews came from, we realized in the middle of the night there was a giant pee stain or something that I was laying on (see photo). The floor was so dirty, the bottom of my kids feet were black. I complained, they changed the linens and we NEVER heard from the them afterwards. Several great places to stay in the area. Country Inn was just gross.

While I rated it average overall, the location and price paid were the redeeming factors. With close proximity to Yosemite NP, we accepted the service we got. While a few things needed to be addressed straight off the bat. Microwave was working, no hairdryer, and one hair lotion bottles was empty. Overall average rating.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was located a good distance between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, to make it a convenient stop. Hotel was not too busy, was clean and comfortable. Has a lot of greenery around

Nice room at a great price.

Overall, the staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean and fairly modern, and the location was just minutes from the nearby festival I was attending. The only downsides were that the iron in the room was ancient, the ironing board wouldn’t close once I opened it, and the parking spaces in the upper parking lot that offered the easiest access to my room were EXTREMELY tight. Other than that, I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is fairly clean with a kind staff. Working ice machine. Only go barefoot in your room if you don’t mind your feet being black on the bottom. Bathroom door would not shut and one of the drawers was broken. Shower curtain did not keep water in the shower- but there is a drain on bathroom floor. Now I know why! Also- they said they have a dog park- but it’s actually an unfenced doggie relief patch of dirt behind a dumpster- literally. They just placed a dog excrement removal station at this dirt patch and call it a dog park.

Hidden Gem

We love to visit Jamestown and this is the only place we like to stay. It's a hidden Gem with an awesome pool. It's centrally located to activities and close to shopping and restaurants without being in high traffic area

Enjoyed chatting with the lovely staff and front desk lady. Took us a while to find the vending machine but they do have one. Abandoned building across the street. This hotel felt a little overpriced for the age and the fact that it didn't offer breakfast but coffee was available at the front desk. The shower curtain billowed inwards so the whole time you're having a shower you're touching the curtain. Did not enjoy that at all.
