Welcome to 'La Vue de L’Aigle' (Eagle's View), a detached chalet located in the hilltop village of Jarjayes, just 10 minutes from Gap. Built in 2021 and decorated in a warm chalet style, it offers a bright, comfortable and peaceful setting for a family holiday or a stay with friends in the southern French Alps.

The spacious cathedral-style living area is one of the chalet’s main highlights. Thanks to its large windows and French doors, you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and valley from the kitchen, dining table and lounge.

The sunny terrace extends the indoor living space beautifully, giving you the chance to admire the scenery, read, share a meal or simply relax in peace and quiet.

The chalet can accommodate up to 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms: one bedroom with a 160 cm king-size bed, and two bedrooms with two 90 cm single beds. One of the twin bedrooms can also be prepared as a large 180 cm double bed, depending on your needs.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and double washbasin, with a separate toilet.

For an extra moment of relaxation, a private 2-person hot tub is available all year round as an optional extra, with advance booking and an additional charge. It is located on the terrace, facing the mountains.

The chalet also has a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace and parking for two cars.

Jarjayes is a small, peaceful and authentic village perched above Gap. You will find a leisure area with a ping-pong table, multi-sports court, pétanque area and children’s play equipment. In summer, a small local market takes place on Tuesday evenings, with regional produce and a friendly atmosphere.

From the village, you can set off on foot or by bike to explore the surrounding area. The region is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, road cycling, wildlife watching and outdoor activities. With a little luck, you may spot chamois, roe deer, wild boar, many mountain birds and sometimes even golden eagles.

Gap is around 10 minutes away by car, Lake Serre-Ponçon around 20 minutes away, and the first ski resorts around 35 minutes away. In both summer and winter, La Vue de L’Aigle is an ideal base for enjoying the Southern French Alps, combining nature, comfort and tranquillity.
