I requested connecting rooms, called to confirm connecting rooms, and was told this was something they would be able to do. Upon arrival the rooms were not connecting and were on opposite ends of the hallway. When trying to discuss the issue with management during checkout, I was told she didn’t have time for me. I felt like I had done my part in being sure about my stay and my request and was really let down when I arrived. There was hair in the shower, so we didn’t use it. Thankfully only had a one night stay.

I would not recommend this hotel

I have serious concerns for your safety. I was in room 114, halfway down the hall from check-in on the 1st floor. When I arrived Friday evening, there was no ice in the ice machine. Ok, not really a big deal. When I attempted to take a shower the next morning, the shower head was only allowing some water to come out. The shower head either needs to be cleaned or replaced. Ok, still not a huge deal, but clearly not acceptable. The most urgent problem was when the fire alarm went off shortly after getting in the shower! I immediately got out to see what the issue was. Did someone burn a piece of toast in the kitchen? I checked the hallway and no one was out and about. The alarm went off for about 2 minutes and then stopped. So, I got back in the shower and the fire alarm went off again! At this point, I got dressed and collected my things to leave. It stopped again after a couple of minutes. When I got to the front desk to see what was going on, the employee told me that there was no fire alarm registering in their system?! The alarm started going off again! You could clearly hear it from the front desk. No one had even come to my door or called my room to see if I was ok. She asked if I had been smoking or possibly taking a hot shower. I told her no, I do not smoke, and no, I was not even in the shower long enough for the steam to collect in the bathroom before the alarm started going off the first time. What would have happened if there actually WAS a fire?

The best part about this place was the price and the breakfast and it's a typical hotel breakfast. We chose this room because of the price and reviews. We upgraded to the room with the kitchenette bc it was my whole family. 34 mins away from holiday world. Upon checking in I was met with a 100$ deposit that wasn't mentioned anywhere online. 100% refunded with cash or 60% with a card. Luckily the lady didnt force me to pay it right away. Leaving to take our bags into the room we realized the entry door never locks and can just be pushed open. Right beside the arcade no less. The room was decent at first glance. The beds moved around and the regular tv wasnt great. Then we realize there was no wifi. The passwords they give arent even long enough. When I asked for a crib or crib mattress we were told they didnt have them. Their online website stated they did have them. They said they'd send someone to talk to us and never did. Now the bathroom. There is no vent so the whole room feels wet after someone showers and that last awhile. The bathroom door knob was broken. Worst of all the water stands in the tub during your shower and doesnt go down for some time after. Super gross!! We stayed sunday to Tuesday and were never offered new towels, bed sheets or anything. I would not recommend someone to stay here unless absolutely necessary.

We arrived at the hotel after 10 pm. After hitting the call button several times, we called the hotel from our cell phone requesting check-in service. Our room was clean with a small kitchen area including a full sized refrigerator. The hotel had no wifi. The restroom room near checkin was out of order. Breakfast was standard continental fair, the dining area is a cramped space the was too small for the number of people trying to use it. We were hoping to use the pool before we left but the pool didn't open until 10 and checkout was 11, making pool time unrealistic. We inquired about an ice machine and was told it was not working. It was a disappointing stay.

MOLD

Our room had mold in it! The fan didn’t work so the bathroom was moldy and musty. There’s no elevator and when I told them about the mold there wasn’t really anything they did or said to remedy it. They didn’t clean our room after the first night and didn’t bring towels or anything to replenish the room.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were a nice size! Our room was clean, bathroom was just a bit dated. Our door would not lock, I called the desk and left a message but no one came to help. Fortunately, my husband is handy and was able to figure out how to adjust the door to make the lock line up with the door frame. The breakfast was ok, most of the warm food was cold and couldn’t find anyone to help refill the syrup but that’s not that big of a deal. We just ate bagels and cereal.
