We stayed here as our son was competing in the Lake Placid Ironman. This location was perfect. Short drive to Lake Placid. The property was exactly as described and even better in person. It's cute and cozy. The Jay area is beautiful and would love to come back and hike in the area, as the cabin is close to many trail heads(short drive, under 15 minutes) Shannon's communication was outstanding! I had questions regarding the property as well as requested recommendations for restaurant's. Her recommendations were on point and her response time was super fast. She is an outstanding host!

Perfect cabin

This cabin is great. Location is perfect if you want a quiet outdoor vacation. Close to all outdoor activities. I would just replace the couch/futon. We took our dog and walked him on the roads around the area due to very little traffic. We will definately rent again.

Fresh snow, warm cabin- loved it!

A near perfect quiet little hideaway in the woods. We spent 4 nights with hiking, deep snow, and reading. Hope to come back again.

Really nice stay at Camp Creaky Birch

House was perfect for a short holiday with local ADK family. Clean, quiet, dog friendly, safe for kids to hang outside. I cooked Christmas dinner for 7 and luckily the house was set up to handle that chore! Will keep this place on our local ADK list.
