Cottage 5 at Touchdown Cottages is a spacious, private eco cottage overlooking the neighbouring pony club cross-country course.
Set in a quiet part of the property, Cottage 5 enjoys open views across parkland where horses and riders can often be seen moving through the landscape. The outlook brings gentle activity and interest while the cottage itself remains peaceful and private. Native wildlife regularly passing through, and parkland surrounds, it feels well removed — yet you’re still only 2 km from the centre of town for supplies, coffee or a meal out.
The cottage is fully self-contained and fully sustainable, powered by 100% solar energy with all water supplied via on-site rainwater collection. Inside, the cottage offers approximately 80 square metres of comfortable living space. It features two bedrooms, a well-appointed bathroom, an additional toilet room, and a full kitchen with oven, hotplates and microwave, making self-catering easy. The living area is generous and welcoming, with comfortable sofas for relaxing at the end of the day. All linen is supplied.
Outside, guests can enjoy the BBQ area and spend time watching the cross-country course and horses as the day unfolds. Cottage 5 suits couples, families and friends looking for a quiet, eco-friendly stay with space, views and a relaxed country feel.
