No online bookings from other agencies welcome

There is a separate room for online bookings that is not on standard. Had to put kettle on the ground to reach the plug. No aircon as advertise and they let me pay again for breakfast. the room was a downgrade from the other rooms available and I was informed by reception that they always give that room to guest that booked online and not direct at them.

A decent place to stay in a pinch

An average guest house, certainly not anything special. Was clean but dated. Desk staff were helpful and friendly; not sure about management.

Pleasant stay however the room was far too small

Utopia Guest House is located 17 km from Pretoria City Centre, major shopping malls can be reached within 2 km. The Guest House offers indoor and outdoor pool, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the wifi was good at all times and the whole property clean. What honestly shocked me was the size of the Standard Double Room we booked, it was around 12 square meters and so small that I could hardly open my bag there. The bathroom was also not within the same room, it was located in the same building. The room was rather a very small single room than a double room. The typical south african breakfast was good, warm and cold things + juice were offered.
