Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature

Your cozy glamping retreat "Merlot" is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Snuggle into the plush queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses, ideal for savoring local wines. While the tents can get warm during peak daylight hours in the summer, our AC units work most effectively once the sun goes down, helping create a more comfortable sleeping environment throughout the night.



Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit.



A Pet-Friendly Retreat

Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.

Unwind Under the Stars

End your day by the fire pit with complimentary firewood, sharing stories and stargazing in the fresh night air. Fires are permitted unless a burn ban is in effect.



Summer Heat Advisory

During the summer months, temperatures and heat indexes in the area can exceed 100°F (38°C), and Heat Advisories may be issued. If you're traveling with young children, older adults, are pregnant, or have heat-sensitive medical conditions, we encourage you to consider the forecast before your stay.

As this is an outdoor glamping experience, you may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife despite our regular cleaning and preventative measures.

Owners and close friends Duke, Mike, and Zach are passionate about producing great 100% Texas wine, vineyard tours, and hosting live music events. Located 5 miles west of Johnson City, 12 Fires is a place for guests to learn, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors in style.

We’re open Friday – Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM. If your stay falls outside these hours, reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

At the 12 Fires Winery tasting room, indulge in our pizza and delicious charcuterie board, laden with a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers, and spreads.
