The Hampton Inn was located in a convenient area to shopping, food and ETSU. The breakfast was fine. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the fresh baked cookies served in the afternoon. The front guest manager was very friendly.

I had my dates for my booking set for 9/11-9/13 and evidentially the app booked the wrong nights(9/9-9/11). I did not realize this until I tried to check into my room on 9/11 and was told that I had no room. I was in town for a funeral during Bristol race week and there were no rooms for me at the hotel I booked. I had to find accommodations at a much lesser hotel and lost hundreds of dollars to the incorrect booking. This experience has nothing to do with the Hampton In in Johnson City, but has everything to do with the Expedia app.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

We attended the NASCAR races at Bristol and decided to boook a night in Johnson City. It was located about a half an hour away from the track. Easy access and due to our late arrival (after midnight) I called to let them know we would have a late check-in. We arrived around 1:30 am and were greeted almost immediately. Check in was quick and the service was friendly. We were surprised to find a full breakfast available in the morning as the listing stated “continental “. This was a welcomed addition. Super friendly staff, very clean, very comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend staying here and will return next year!

The walls are incredibly thin. Heard the couple in the room next to us having loud sex. Also you can hear noises and conversations in the hallways from your bed too.
