Room is relatively clean but major cigarette smell along the corridor. Room is on level 13. Check in was fast as it is already 6.30pm. Location is perfect as it is near many eateries and KSL shopping mall.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa and couldn't have asked for more! The property was even better than the photos. · The Pool: The private pool was the star of the show. It was impeccably clean and so refreshing, especially after a day out in JB. and we loved relaxing on the sun loungers in the evening. It was the perfect private oasis. · The Gym: As fitness enthusiasts, we were thrilled to have a basic-equipped gym right on the premises. It had modern cardio and weight machines, which meant we didn't have to skip our workout routine. A fantastic and unexpected bonus! · The Breakfast: The included breakfast was delicious and such a convenience. We looked forward to it every morning! It offered a great mix of local Malaysian favorites and continental options. A wonderful way to start the day. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The front office staff Miss Kalaivani was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for your thoughtful arrangement for getting a room near to the loft as my mom's knee caps are not well. 👍👍👍 We highly recommend this hoteland will definitely be returning on our next trip to Johor Bahru. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!😊😊😊

The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable but very dated. The lifts need better maintenance, 2 of 4 had faulty control panels which meant that I couldn't always select the floor I wanted. The pool and sauna are great, however some padded seat covers for the sun lounges would be a great improvement. The gym is like a sauna, no a/c which makes it stifling and uncomfortable to use. Reception staff while being friendly and engaging need greater training, our check-in was really challenging. Breakfast is good, a broad range of food available both local and international. Eggs can be scrambled, fried or omelette but usually like much of the food it is cold by the time you get it which makes it unappetising. This hotel has some great qualities, it's location and friendly staff but needs some significant improvement.

Wrong Room Number Given on Key Card: Upon check-in, I was assigned Room #1914, but the front desk wrote the wrong number #1913 on my key card. As a result, I was unable to access the room and instead tried to open another guest’s room #1913. To my great embarrassment, that guest opened the door, thinking someone was attempting to enter. Room Key Cards Stopped Working: Aug 13, when we got back to hotel at night, both room keys suddenly stopped working. I had to travel from the 19th floor to the ground floor to get them replaced. The front desk issued new keys, but they still failed. I then had to call for help and wait for staff to come up and fix the lock before I could re-enter my room. As of today, there has been no response from the Holiday Villa Management after repeated attempts.
