Once I opened the front door reception.. the aroma smell was so awful that I couldn't stand it... The room I've book just right in front to the lift.. luckily it is quite quiet there thou my room do have windows inside. It is clean..BUT there's no cupboard or hangers to hang out clothing...the pillow was too soft and when I ask for extras and could pay for that they said there's no extra pillows at their hotel .. I was so shocked... This will be d first n the last to check in this hotel
The hotel frontage and the reception area are in bad shape, need renovations and repairs. Information on hotel are not up to date. When I checked in on 2pm at the hotel, the reception staff told me that hotel check in time was 3pm, but the advertising on the hotel website stated check in time was 2pm, I have shown it to the hotel staff and demanded to check in at 2pm but the staff declined to accept it with a stern face look. Unfriendly and unprofessional service. Will appreciate the Hotel.com look into this on CIQ Hotel advertisement. Your customer see and booked from you is not what the customer get.
Hotel was located at the furthest end of Jalan Meldrum. Room was smaller than we thought. Both the bedsheets and pillow cases had stains on it. Lighting design was inadequate (either too bright or extreme darkness). Shower head weirdly positioned beside the toilet bowl. Awaken by loud strange noises in the middle of the night i.e. furniture shifting, inexplicable tapping on the window, slamming of doors by "neighbors". Prefer to stay at other hotels nearer to the 24-hour coffee shops and City Square Mall.
