It was advertised on the website that this hotel had an outdoor and indoor pool. There was NOT an indoor pool. So I had some disappointed kids after learning this. We would stay elsewhere if in Joplin again.

Beware of ants!

Hotel wasn’t what I expected but that could have been an oversight on my part. However, the bathroom faucet was loose and not installed right and the shower/tub was pretty sketchy looking as well. The worst part was waking up to ants all over the nightstand…I didn’t notice them when we got in but they were all over by morning.

Great place for a solo stay

The place was clean but it is a motel. cons: Shower head leaked, bed was noisy cheap metal when you moved it bang together. Pros: Very clean and smelled great, price was appropriate for accommodations. Great for solo stays and just need a place to crash. Breakfast looked good, slight con is the room where breakfast is served was so small I just skipped because it was so busy and no where to sit.

Not great at all.

Room was lousy. Floor was pealing up. Shower ceiling was stained and looked to be very water damaged. Overall not worth the money or headache. .

Very friendly staff and clean and safe

This is an old motel, outside condition isn’t great but it’s clean and safe. A complaint is that they had FOX news on in the cafe—many of us, Say at least half of us are offended and mortified by this propaganda—put on something we can all enjoy. That said it was clean and the staff is very very friendly.

The room was tiny. The refrigerator was next to my bed side! Heard the compressor cycle on and off all night. Coffee maker didn’t work and that was the second room. First room the tv didn’t work so had to move. Don’t stay there!!

It was okay.

First, I had no idea when I booked this room that this was a MOTEL with outside entrances. It was super cold this evening and I didn't like having to haul my suitcases through the snow to get into my room. We didn't get to use any other ammenities because at zero degrees, going outside of the room was not an option. I will say that the heater worked well. There was a modest choice for breakfast. And nothing had been shoveled or plowed, making it a bit dangerous to get around the property. And the people who were staying above us were clomping around all night.

Incredible!

Got there just as a monster snow Storm hit. Next morning half expected no breakfast. Two employees had stayed the night and had the buffet ready. Awesome...remarkable display of customer service!!
