I'm Sue, and I would love to welcome you to our home away from home. I have many years of property management experience. I have also enlisted my son's good friend, Ryan, to help me host. He has hundreds of top reviews and years of experience living and working in Maui. Together, we are always available to help our guests experience the best Maui has to offer. This is my sanctuary, home-away-from-home, and my goal is for you to feel the same during your stay.
The Mahana is about as close to the ocean as it gets, and the condo has direct ocean and West Maui mountain views. You can watch the sunrise over the mountains and set over the ocean each day. A private gate from the Mahana provides easy access to the boardwalk, which goes for miles and leads to the Kaanapali Beach resort area. Take a short walk on the boardwalk or the beach to Duke’s restaurant next door or one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment. There is direct ocean access and excellent snorkeling. The beach size varies greatly with the tides and season.

-One free parking space. One car maximum. Sorry, there is no parking for a 2nd car.

-1 King-size bed, 1 Cal-king bed, 1 double sleeper sofa (please read below about sleeper sofa)
-Furnished lanai with direct ocean views and outdoor dining area for 6, plus a ceiling fan and lighting for extended dining and use
-Indoor dining area for 6
-Spacious living space, 1,214 sq ft + 240 sq ft lanai
-Smart TVs and high-speed WiFi
-Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
-Drip coffee maker, Keurig, electric kettle, French press
-2 Full bathrooms, first has a walk-in shower, second has a large  jet tub + shower in one
-In-unit washer/dryer with some laundry detergent to start
-Beach towels, beach chairs, and a small beach cooler
*The comfortable living room couch includes a queen sofa bed, though many guests, including our adult children, have found it simpler and more comfortable to make up one or both sides of the L-shaped sofa into single beds, rather than moving the table and pulling out the sleep sofa each night. The solid, and heavy wood table in front of the sofa needs two people to move it. The bedding is conveniently located in the cabinet in the entrance hall.
*There are several rental shops for snorkeling gear within 3 minutes of the condo building. Sorry, I don’t provide snorkeling gear due to safety and hygiene.

**Check-in/out**
The condo is self-check-in. I usually send detailed instructions one week before your arrival date. The door uses a personalized electronic key code. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm and check-out is anytime before 10 am

**LAHAINA FIRE**
The condo is in a beautiful area north of the fire, and all restaurants, buildings, and beaches were undamaged. This is also the case for the surrounding neighborhoods. All of my favorite beaches were untouched, and there are tons of great restaurants in Ka'anapali, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua, just minutes from the condo. The road to Hana and my favorite hikes are still open and will likely be less crowded than they used to be.
Your visit can make such a positive impact on the island. Your presence helps to employ residents in tourism and helps to sustain local businesses. Over 80% of Maui's industry is driven by tourism, more than any other island in Hawaii
**MAJOR USA HOLIDAYS**
Reservations checking in/out ON THE DAY OF: Thanksgiving Day (November), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Day (01/01), Easter, and July 4th will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning surcharge to provide my housekeeper holiday pay. If you check in/out the day before or after, there is no surcharge.
