The space
Located in a rare Hawaiian cloud forest. This unique forest supports the native song bird of Hawaii, as well as daily parrot sightings and the occasional flock of cockatoo. There is a resident pair of elusive and endangered Hawaiian bats that can be seen most nights at sunset flying over the pond. The property backs up to a state forest reserve, which adds more privacy and a very popular hiking trail is only steps from the property entrance.
The cool nights invite sleeping with windows open, and the coqui frogs begin to sing as the sun goes down. An incredible place to come home to after a day of sightseeing or the beaches. Many people choose to just stay on the property during the day, and marvel in the tranquility of the forest and changing daily weather. Mornings are usually clear and sunny with a chance of fog and or rain moving in by the middle of the day. The sky is usually clear by sunset for some of the most amazing and serene sunsets found anywhere on the planet.
