The Surf Hideaway is located in the heart of Kona Hawaii. This is not a fancy condo what you will get is a clean room and bath and the experience of living like a local in Hawaii we live on this site. We offer everything from mask, snorkels and fins there are also beach chairs, boogie boards for your day at the beach. Most guest use the Surf Hideaway as there first and last night on the island because of our location and price. We also love helping our guests with our local knowledge

My daughter and I stayed here. It was so nice and clean. It had all the necessities & amenities that made it so convenient! We loved that the refrigerator had a little freezer! Marc was always available and was so nice! The place is so close to many shops! When we go back to Kona we will defs be booking this place again!

Cozy downstairs unit suitable for two people. Great for folks that don’t mind a small unit enough to get around the bed and to the bathroom. Counter space with mini fridge perfect for those especially on a budget. Nice outdoor sitting area next to washer dryer. There was a couple with a toddler upstairs running around in the morning. If you don’t mind that then you’ll be just fine.

This apartment suited my needs. Certainly not fancy, matched the pictures and description. I stayed only one night and just showered and slept. Marc greeted me and made sure I had found the key. I appreciated the convenient off street parking and being able to walk to the strip-easy walk to the water, shops and restaurants. I was traveling alone and felt safe staying here. While the noise wasn’t too bad, there definitely was some right outside the open windows. I’d stay here for a night again.

The host was great with communication. The unit wasn't what i expected it to be for the price. Was very clean and towels available and such.Easy to locate. Actually arrived late in the evening and left early to catch a flight. I come from a large city and felt the price didn't match the unit, was my greatest disappointment. Parking was easy to find in the front. I do not, not recommend it, but would find something different for myself if i were to return.
