This is a new listing and priced super low right now but will go up in the next 6 months. Whale House cottage is nestled in the trees of Kona Surf and Racquet Club with an ocean view. The back side of the property is a protected Hawaiian Heritage Site with hand-carved outrigger canoes under the tents and fish ponds galore.

This delightful townhouse offers a soothing retreat for guests. With two spacious bedrooms featuring king-sized beds, everyone enjoys a restful night’s sleep. Two bathrooms include both a bathtub with shower upstairs and a quick walk in shower downstairs, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring..

Guests will appreciate comforts such as Air Conditioning (available for a daily fee) and thoughtful touches like an iron and hair dryer, new appliances and all amenities of home with full kitchen. Our Whale House Cottage is a rare find in Kona. There are many ocean view homes in Kona but very few beach front properties. You can walk out the front door through lush landscape or lay in bed to watch the beautiful sunsets.
On the semi-private beach you can wade in the water or drop yourself in the sand and watch the whales, dolphins and the tropical Hawaiian fish. Turtles find this beach a quiet and peaceful resting place so enjoy them from a distance as they sleep on the sand. Rare monk seals come here to bring their young as it is a quite peaceful beach.

Sit and have dinner on the private lanai with fan above you to help you stay cool on warm days.
We are very close to the forest for hiking and Kona town is a 10 minute drive. Kahaluu is a 2 minute drive to some of the best snorkeling on the island. Restaurants, movie theater and shops are walking distance away and farmers markets are open every Saturday with Hula on Friday nights up the street so you can walk with your drinks.
On property we have gear for you to do volley ball , pickle ball and tennis. There are also BBQ's. for your freshly caught fish or grass fed local beef.

This is an amazing property at an incredible value. The new Air Conditioning system was so nice. The beds were so comfortable. I didn’t wanna get out in the morning. The sunsets from the beach and walking distance took us about a minute to walk to the beach saw turtles and amongst seal everything is brand new in the home. The kitchen is immaculate. It’s exactly how it’s pictured in the pictures on VRBO. I love that it’s backed up to a protected area where they have canoes from hundreds of years ago and the culture and in walking distance to all the stores the grounds were incredible so beautiful and Nancy and Chris were great host. I can’t say enough about this property. We’re definitely coming back to this unit. Thanks for letting us use Whale House.
