Kairakau Hideaway close to beach!

Kairakau Beach, fifty minutes from Hastings, thirty-five minutes to local shops and twenty minutes to the country pub. This is the ultimate getaway. Small sandy beach, suited to families, with a stunning backdrop of rocky hills. The community tennis court, estuary, and safe streets make it perfect for kids to do their own thing. Bring the boat and fishing rods. Plenty of native bush to encourage bird song and a sense of getting away from it all.

A really nice place to stay, felt so at home as soon as we arrived. Plenty of lounge seating, which isn't often the case, and very comfortable beds.The fire was a bonus, very effective The beach is close, and great for a wander and beachcombing.Host was super accessible, thank you Lorraine. We had a wonderful weekend at Kairakau Hideaway. It was a girls trip with high school friends and the place was perfect. We enjoyed meals on the deck, a terrible game of tennis and walks on the beach. We look forward to coming back again next year!
