This was our absolute favourite of the ten places we stayed on our South Island road trip. Our room was fabulous with a spacious bedroom, bathroom, and living area/kitchenette. We had a large balcony with loungers, a table and chairs and a beautiful view plus an indoor/outdoor jet tub. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary use of the pools, hot tubs, steam room and sauna. The staff was lovely and the breakfast buffet was top notch.

This very reasonably-priced resort is the way to go if visiting this area. We had a wonderful unit, perched up the hill and loved our daily treks into town below (you can also drive, but we chose not to). An added bonus was the fitness track with various exercise stations around the property and we made sure to take advantage of the pools, the hot-tub, and the saunas. Everything is well-maintained (although the ping pong table is in need of replacing 😉). The continental breakfast is a cut above and offers whole grain breads, cheese and hard boiled eggs, plus delightful little jars of chia pudding, fantastic croissants and a selection of delicious homemade kiwi jelly, lemon curd, and even homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread. Dinner at their restaurant was likewise excellent. We had a great stay at Kimi Ora and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful location with fantastic views. The included continental breakfast brilliant. Lovely massages and walks on site - one to see glow worms. The one thing letting it down is the condition of the facilities. The saunas and steam rooms not particularly hot and the pool table and table tennis were unplayable.

Breakfast was great. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately someone elses water in my bathroom glass. Bed super comfortable. Unfortunately awoken at 8.15 by the gardner weed eating outside our room & someoneemptying glass bottles into a bin. . Staff Absolutely lovely. Very mixed feelings about returning because of this.

We loved our stay in a spacious room with gorgeous views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious (especially the chia pudding which was new to me). The facilities like the pool and spa are lovely. Highly recommend!
