The hotel has potential, but tries to cut costs to the point of making serious inconveniences for the guests: turning off the airconditioning in the middle of the night or when you are out of the room, or turning off the hallway lights until you ask to have them turned on. In fact the "air conditioning" seemed to be a centralized swamp cooler system rather than true airconditioning, not minor problem in central Greece where temperatures approach 100 F in the summer. The staff was friendly, but quite informal, not always professional. Curiously, there are not a lot of great hotels in this spectacular part of Greece, but travelers can do better than this one.
