My family of five enjoyed the Grand Suite with Pool Access. Had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with room for all. Was a short walk to the beach. Pools were nice and had service to the pool area. Gym was great. Breakfast was included and the buffet had plenty of options. Great value.

This hotel fell short of the standards expected from a four-star property. The area surrounding the hotel was quite unclean and smelt bad. The main pool, located in a shaded courtyard enclosed by buildings, received little sunlight, while the rooftop pool was more of a basin than an actual swimming pool. Hot water was inconsistent, making it frustrating and time-consuming to fill the bathtub. My room had a persistent damp smell. The hotel also appeared to cater primarily to Russian-speaking guests, with most entertainment and services not being inclusive of other nationalities. Although the staff were polite, they generally offered little practical help. Although out of their direct control, the noise coming from the camping next door was disturbing, even with all balcony doors closed. Dining options were limited for healthy food. Room service leftovers were left overnight in the main staircase, in front of my room.

Hotel was great for the most part and the staff were warm and helpful. I just wish they would have enforced the no smoking rule at the main pool as it became unpleasant to be around so many smokers. The room was really nice except for the stale smelling air conditioning. Other than that, we would stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend.

Here’s the updated review with your additions: --- **The Marin Hotel, Kamala – Review** The Marin Hotel is a lovely little spot right across the road from Café del Mar, making it perfect if you want convenience without the noise. It’s also close to the beach and only about 15 minutes from Bang Tao, which makes it easy to get around and explore the area. The rooms are surprisingly spacious with a clean, modern design that feels fresh and comfortable. Everything is well laid out, the bed is comfy, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. The only thing to note is that the pool chairs aren’t very comfortable, but aside from that, it’s a great choice for a simple, stylish stay in a super convenient location. I would definitely return.

Although there were 3 shuttles to the main Kamala stretch a day I feel it would be beneficial to have more frequent shuttles as the cost in transport can mount up and the road to the hotel can be very busy to walk along, especially if you have children.

The hotel room we had was great clean and spacious.All staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay and relax in Phuket. Near the Kamala beach just walking distance but I would rather swim in one of the pools of the hotel. Buffet breakfast have variety to choose from and menu changed everyday.
