Pros: Nice people. Bed was clean. Cons: Railing was loose and did not I still confidence walking up with a senior who needed the support. Stove top wasn’t clean. Big bucket of cigarette butts outside a room.

Great!

We arrived at 10:30pm to sleep, left at 8:30am. Beds were clean and comfortable, the place was quiet, there was coffee on n the morning. It was exactly what we needed.

Staff helpful. Suite clean and bed comfortable. Older part of Merrit so lots homeless around but had no problems. Quick overnight stay while travelling. Would stay again if needed to.

They have done a very nice job in updating this motel which is clearly old. Everything was pleasant and clean. The room is small, no place to hang clothes or put up a suitcase. The bathroom is large and very nice. The breakfast was sparse but that helps keep the cost down, which we appreciated. The staff were nice. The visitor center is across the street, which was helpful and the 7-11 had an ATM machine so we could stock up on Canadian money. It was fine for one night.

Photos on Expedia are not accurate or are misleading. Our beds were very hard and the mattresses and pillows were thin. Staff were nice. Complimentary breakfast is almost funny. Frozen waffles, yogurt, tiny muffins, bread, juice, and a couple plastic containers of sugary cereal. Better than nothing, I suppose. $190 for a place that should have been more like $100.

The place was pretty cheap and the staff was friendly and got us extra pillows quickly, with a smile. There are a number of concerns however. It is in an older part of town with run down buildings all around. The room's entrance was contrived being around a corner in a dark hallway with a fake, concrete looking rubberized mat covering a narrow pathway to our door. The AC worked well but loudly on a hot evening. The room was small and run down with left over furniture, ill fitting but clean bed clothes, and a very bouncy laminate floor that was useful for my wife (5'1" tall) in taking a leap to get onto the 3' high bed. The floor actually jammed against the bathroom door bottom which was slowly wearing a curved arc shaped groove on its surface. We didn't try the breakfast as we rushed out at first light.
