we were in room 338, which is on the top floor and the very end closest to the indian restaurant. all night we heard squirrels in the wall fighting and scratching. I brought it up with the girl at the front desk and she didn't even seem suprised. the rooms were tidy but not clean-wouldn't walk around with no shoes and their was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. however the beds were comfortable i'll give it that.

A solid 4 out of 5. Apart from sloppy housekeeping and an excuse for a breakfast there are many things to like. Beds are comfortable, the place is in good shape, the views are stunning, the neighborhood is safer than downtown.

My fiance and son were stuck in kamloops due to car trouble. After staying a couple nights in a less than ideal location i booked them a room at this property and they loved it and it became a happy place for them to spend time until the car was sorted out. Back for my second weekend in a row. Incredible views (especially from the second floor), comfy beds, and very conveniently located near TRU. Staff was all super friendly and helpful and the Nespresso machines are a plus. Flavors of India restaurant shares the same parking lot and has great food plus you get a discount as a guest here.

Very clean,remodeled rooms. Nice and roomy, Not sure about the area as we arrived at dark and left in the dark. Only negative was the continental breakfast-only muffins,granola bars, apples and coffee.

Staff were friendly. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Beds were clean but general cleanliness of the room was lacking. There was a fly and a beetle, both alive so that was a bit ick. Corners and areas around furniture were not cleaned often if at all. View from the room was great. Overall 3 stars IMO

The room facilities are not old, and the environment is very quiet. However, the refrigerator occasionally makes a loud noise when it starts, which is especially disturbing in such a quiet setting. The bathroom faucet has the hot and cold water reversed — at first, I thought there was no hot water. One of the beds has a large yellowish stain near the head area, and the other bed had a strand of hair on it. It’s understandable that some wear and tear happens, but the cleanliness really needs improvement.

There was a used Band-Aid in the shower. We had to call the front desk to remove it. The electric baseboard heater in the bathroom did not have a protective cover/shield on it and the heating fins were crushed. This had the appearance of an electrical hazard - in a wet area. When the hair dryer was used, the lights in the entire room flickered.

Everything was just a ok, a budget motel with some degree of remodeling. The parking lot next to the property seemed like where people gathered at night to smoke joints and drink. Went to enjoy the night view of the town but couldn't stay due to the stink and also felt unsafe.

Sheets had not been changed and were stained with appeared to be blood! The floors had not been swept nor washed. It was disgusting. The bathroom was also very dirty. I went to front desk with pictures and they moved us to another room however it was almost as bad, other than the sheets had been changed. It was a very old run down hotel that appeared to have had a coat of paint splashed on without any kind of repairs done to previous damage to rotted wood and baseboards/silicone trim in bathroom. We were charged for what they self described as a room with a view, but I took pictures of the view from my window of a parking lot complete with a huge garbage disposal bin from the restaurant beside the hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay there.
