Staff was great! However our room’s thermostat knob was broken. Also our room was up a small flight of stairs so had to carry luggage as there was no way to bring the cart up. Pool access was offsite, which I missed in the description of the hotel.

It was a great stay and the property was at the centre of the downtown. Greta infrastructure and comfortable beds. Also, breakfast was hot and fresh. Will come back again!!

This hotel is old which is cool but it's very much showing it's age and lack of updates or even maintenance. We were upgraded to the "best room in the hotel" and that's frightening. The bathroom was dirty looking and damage to both the bathtub and shower that should have been replaced years ago. The toilet leaned back and didn't flush properly. The bar staff in the evening was the best part of this stay, they are really great. The parking lot and surrounding areas were questionable as there were a bunch homeless people hanging around the parking and there was no parking in the hotel area, luckily we can't later and could park on the street, you are tons to bring everything into the hotel when you come. The breakfast had no gluten free options, the lady working there was nothing gluten free at all. There was no silverware left so they brought it plastic forks, no cups or plates either. The front desk last was no pleasant and have the attitude like we were bothering her when we tried to talk to her. Definitely won't be staying there again

This hotel was a good value stop over on our travels. The hallway was a bit tired looking and the bathroom would benefit from attention. Water damage was evident. Parking is paid to the hotel and may be a bit of a walk away. On the whole though a good hotel with the bonus of breakfast being included.

We did not like anything. We don’t want to give anyone a good impression of this place at all. As we parked our vehicle we were approached by homeless people and then had to walk beside people doing drugs on the street in front of the place. When we went to the check in area, we were greeted by a nice lady. As she was ready to check us in, I asked where I could park my vehicle. She told us and we said that we had our bikes on the back and we needed a secure place to park. She told us to definitely not leave any valuables outside, and when I asked if the vehicle would be safe, I was told that it is a rough neighborhood. We told the polite lady that this is not the neighborhood for us or our assets and did not stay there.

Room was in disrepair, bathroom and sheets unclean. No other rooms available and no solutions for us, so we packed up and stayed elsewhere. Parking situation is also inconvenient, with small parking lots and overflow lots blocks away at a cost.

The hotel is older, but it did not feel like that inside. Smelled new, very clean. Room was quiet. Bed comfortable and all bedding was obviously fresh and clean. Staff is very helpful, and the hot breakfast was nice.

I was able to check in early. Front desk staff are friendly and polite. My door did not lock. I went out for dinner and thought maybe I needed to wait for the door to lock, but when I came back after an hour and half the door was still unlocked. Next morning, went down for breakfast and it still didn't lock. The faucet in the bathroom sink was not mounted properly and moved everytime I use it. I've stayed at this hotel a few times already, the location is excellent...lots of food options and really convenient to walk around.
