Unable to get into our room as there was a problem with door mechanism. Had to go back to front lobby and helpful front desk staff got us into adjacent room instead. VERY comfortable bed and overall room was comfortable. Odd hanging barndoor for bathroom didn’t offer enough privacy IMO. Pink mold prominent in lower half of shower grout was off putting. Possible this room hadn’t been properly prepared for guests and since our room didn’t work was a last minute issue? Location of hotel was still very convenient and after LONG day of driving you just want to go to bed sometimes.

Nice staff, clean hotel, bed was comfy. Very noisy people slamming doors in the hall at night. Air conditioning unit squealed all night.

Our stay at Wingate by Wyndham Kamloops was truly excellent. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. They went above and beyond by upgrading our room, which made our visit even more comfortable. The room was spotless, modern, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. We especially appreciated the secure underground parking with gated access, which added an extra layer of peace of mind. A major bonus was the availability of a Tesla charger in the basement parking area — very convenient for EV drivers. Everything from the staff, amenities, cleanliness, and location made this a 5-star experience. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers.

The property was fine for a one night stay. Our room had a noisy AC that was too loud to run during the night. We were unaware that the fridge was turned to a temperature so low that caused our fresh produce and drinks to freeze. I mentioned this to the front desk and they seemed to think this was not anything to be concerned about. We would probably choose another hotel when staying in Kamloops again.

Our room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. Internet worked well. There was plenty of on-site parking, superfriendly staff. Breakfast was quite varied with warm and cold items. Unfortunately the extensive use of throwaway cutlery and plates and paper cups gave the breakfast room a very utilitarian appearance.
