Room was great! Beds were comfortable. Very nice hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own-waffles, bread, jelly, fruit, cereal, milk, juice, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to stay an additional night due to weather and there was no problem doing that. The only problem was the front door(s). The outside door was hanging on by a single hinge so cold air (and snow) was coming inside the entryway thru the gaps where the door wouldn’t close. The second front door, going into the lobby, did not shut because the door closure wasn’t attached so most often, that door was standing wide open. The lobby and all the halls were very cold. Thankfully, the rooms were nice & warm! I’d stay there again but hope they get the front door fixed soon.

The hotel is within 10 minutes of the things we wanted to see and do. That is the reason for my rating. The property is old, no renovations at all. The water in the shower took forever to warm up and didn't last more than 2 minutes at the time. It smells like an old place, but they do a good job trying to keep it clean. We are thrifty travelers and didn't mind the location.

Upon arrival there was a funky smell in the hallways. The room needs some work. There was obvious attempts to cover holes but no attempt to repaint. The bathroom was lacking enough towels for the three of us and it was a room that was sized for four. There was trash on the bathroom floor. The shower pressure was ok and temperature was good however it felt like you were walking on a water bed. The window had a conaistent draft blowing through and you could hear outside like you were out there. The smoke alarm was missing its cover. The last night of our stay we heard the fire alarm and the fire truck arrived. But there was no communication on what yo do from hotel staff so we assumed everytbing was ok. The ice machine was not working either The beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable minus the pillows. Price was low so I wasnt expecting much overall!

First off, you have to give 150$ deposit which you could have spent on a nicer hotel. The room was nice but there was no hot water and the reply i got from the guy at the front desk was let it run 20 mins. They also don't give change for the vending machines. The young lady who works days is very helpful tho.
