The location and staff were great, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, it was a busy weekend with an event at the convention center, which caused some issues. Parking was difficult, and navigating the hotel was slower than I’d prefer. My lower-level corner room was also very noisy, even with earplugs. Loud vehicles and frequent police sirens were common, and the stairwell next to my room was used by many accessing the ground-level smoking area, making it difficult to sleep. Despite these issues, I appreciated that the hotel didn’t charge me for parking after a conversation at check-out.

We recently celebrated our anniversary with a staycation at the beautiful Loews Kansas City Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. Loews is truly one of the finest upscale hotels in the city, featuring multiple restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within the property -- offering a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and top-notch hospitality. During our stay, we spent some time at Stillwell, the elegant bar located in the hotel lobby. The bar itself is a masterpiece of design -- stylish, sophisticated, and inviting. The ambiance immediately sets the tone for a memorable evening. The bar staff are incredibly talented, crafting every drink in-house with precision and care. Unlike many places, nothing here feels pre-made; every cocktail is expertly crafted to perfection. Stillwell operates with open seating before 5 PM, but it gets lively and bustling as the evening progresses, so it's a great idea to arrive early if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. The service was exceptional -- warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Since we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary champagne, a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our evening even more special. The hotel offers its own parking garage for guests, but there are also street parking options nearby if you prefer. If you're looking for a luxurious getaway or simply an elevated night out in Kansas City, Loews -- and a visit to Stillwell -- should be at the top of your list!
