The staff was always cleaning something. Breakfast was good. Had something for everyone. We felt very safe at all times.

Without warning we were charged 20.00 dollars to park in the parking lot of this hotel. There were no other places to park and was already charged an extra 100 dollars for a room because it was a KC Chiefs home game. The hotel was 15 minutes away from stadium. Expedia should mention this prior to booking a room. Is 20.00 much, no it isn't but feeling like you are getting taken advantage of does. I would rather be offered a 20.00 fee for breakfast than 20.00 to use their parking lot. And the room was split between bed and office. The office side had no heat and it was 5 degrees outside. When you used the bathroom between the to rooms you nearly froze. 1 star hotel at best. I complained to owners and was told if I cancelled I would not get a refund and be charged full amount. What a terrible hotel.

Cold showers, no cookware, no light, no snow remov

There were no utensils, silverware or glasses for the kitchen. Also no toaster, strainer, or basics cookware you would expect in a hotel with a kitchen. The water in the shower was cold unless you waited past 10 pm and there was no light in one of the room. There was no snow removal in the parking and my car got stuck in the parking.

Our complaint was not having hot water. When we reported this to the front desk we were told, "No, it works." Also, there was painters tape and paper covering the fire detector--it was half torn off but not fully removed after painting. Glad there was not a fire.

This property is not located in an area with dining options or other things to do. Staff recommend we do not walk around after dark. We could hear sirens and street noise all night long. The main area of the hotel (dining area and lobby) were very nice. The room we stayed in not so much. Broken headboard, smelled funny and could have been cleaner. The bathroom vanity was very small. There was no place to put anything and no hooks anywhere. The kitchenette was a nice bonus.

For the price it was adequate. My only complaint is that the hot water doesn’t last longer than about 5-10 minutes cold showers are not my thing.

It was nice, although our key cards stopped working an hour before the check out time. We managed to work it out with the staff so we could remove the rest of our things, so it all worked out.
