Bad communication by Hotels.com and the Hotel

It was never disclosed that I needed to pay $100 deposit to stay the night. I made a reservation with Hotels.com with no warning of needing to pay that at arrival. When I arrive I told the front desk that I didn’t have the $100 so he said I couldn’t get the room. I said I need to leave now he said ok have a good day. I woke up to 3 different charges on my account $100, $30 and the $50. The only one that went through was the $50 charge. I called the hotel they said it was for a no show. If they were about to attempt to charge me the whole cost of the room, why not let me in when I arrived? The day of my reservation? So I can’t get the room because of no deposit but I will get charge the full cost of the room for “no show” what??? I’m pissed at both parties Hotels.com and the hotel. I wil never use their service again NEVER I trusted them to give all the information I need to make my experience easy and trusted.

Front desk person was great. We got in late just after midnight due to flight delays and he was friendly and got us checked in quickly, which we appreciated after a long day of traveling. Don’t know his name but he was working the graveyard shift… kudos for great customer service!

This was my second stay at this hotel and I much preferred the room I had the first time over the room I had for this most recent visit. There were only 2 things that were wrong with the room and both were pretty minor. The light over the microwave and coffee pot area didn't work and some of the channels came in pretty clear and others were not so much but still watchable except for the one showing a hockey game. I couldn't read names on jerseys too much and I could not see the puck. Fortunately I was able to see a more important hockey game to me at my buddy's house with him. Outside of that my only complaint is that it was a room specifically for a disabled person as everything was very low and I am am about average in height so it wasn't too bad except for when it came to the shower which was a handheld and the spot it was in came up to my lower chest area and was pretty chilly until I was ready to rinse. I will gladly go back there and stay again as I enjoy it there a lot but next time will know to make sure its not that kind of room again. When in conversation with one of the staff I also learned it was sold out for that night and appeared to have been the next night as well, I figured asking for another room was out otherwise I am sure they would have taken care of me. But I do have to be honest in my reviews to help other people and hope they do give this place a shot.

Convenient, Comfortable & Close to Airport

Stayed overnight only to eliminate commute in order to catch early flight out. Check-in was quick & easy and room was very comfortable. The hotel had 24x7 Shuttle Service which was a critical component of our stay there.

Nothing outstanding. Should really be more conscious to other guests taking double parking spots. We returned to the hotel around 2am and there was no parking due to 3 cars parked between two spots.
