”Own” apartment with nice views

Finding the reception was a bit tricky, even after doing extensive research. Walk around the corner of the Family Mart and you’ll see an opening with a reception - this is *NOT* where you check in. Keep walking along the side of the house, past a storefront, and take a left into a sort of courtyard. There, on your left, is a window where you check in. Do note that the name in the window says something different but it is the right place! When you have your key you go back to that first opening/reception and take elevator 1 or 2. Also note that you have to touch the tag to the pad under the handrail on your right before pushing the floor button. Same goes when going down, unless someone else has already pushed 1. AC is incredibly noisy, even in nighttime mode. There is a floor fan but we didn’t use it. You’re not supposed to flush down paper in the toilet. Elevator is really fast. The balcony is a huge plus with great views! Fridge, hairdryer, coffee, tea, and toothbrushes. WiFi was pretty good and we didn’t have any major disturbances.

Nice place, rude locals

The ladies who work for the hotel are very nice and helpful. The room was nice also. The people in the local area including the security of the building and some of the other guests were quite rude. That seems to be the story with Taiwan.

4 of us (with 3 big luggage) stayed there for 2 nights. However one of the (2) bedroom is too small (no space to open luggage). As a result, we had to place 1 in the bedroom, one in the living room, another in the kitchen (partially converted into a wardrobe). Also, they forgot to provide housekeeping to our room. So we had to walk to the reception to get fresh towels, which is troublesome. However, the location is good - near train station, and shopping malls.

Homely place

The location of the apartment (Note, this is not a hotel) is within walking distance to the Sanduo Shopping District Station, which is only about 20 minutes ride on the MRT to the Kaohsiung international airport. There are two convenience stores (family mart) and a huge shopping mall around the corner too. The host is also very responsive on the wechat app, which really make me feel comfortable. (Thank you zhi yu. :D ) I will definitely recommend this place.

Great value, near MRT station

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's more a small appartment than an actual hotel. There is a "kitchen" with only a sink and a fridge, a bed and a living room with a sofa and a balcony with a washing machine. The view was nice even if the building next door is under construction. The location si really great, near an MRT station. There are many things to do around the aera. We slept really well. The housekeeper came every 2 days to empty trash cans and change towels but not the bed sheets. I would defenitely recommand this hotel. It's an excellent value for the price!

Art Eyes, Definitely a Must-See

After having travelled with my partner in Asia for a few months, it was nice to have a place to call our 'own' and have all the amenities that a traveller could want; Laundry, clean bathroom, a/c and fridge. The view wasn't that great, seeing as there was another big building right in front, but that didn't bother us too much. It's extremely well located, right by the mrt station and walking distance to lightrail stop. I would highly recommend this place as it's comfortable and private, exactly what any traveller would want!

Good and friendly staff

Good location, short distance to MRT and shopping center, cinema. Small Night market and family mart within walking distance. Hot water not consistent and inform that beddings will not change during the stay. There is construction tall building next door thus views are being blocked.

Nice apartment close to street food

從旅館走去坐捷運很靠近,走去小吃街也很方便。小公寓裏有洗衣機可以洗衣服,我喜歡有窗口的旅館,空氣比較流通也不會陰暗,雖然舊了一些,但是性價比85大樓好很多.

Nicely furnished and convenient

The room has a little bar with a refrigerator, 12kg waking machine, sofa and a large coffee table. Wechat to communicate with staff is great not recommended for urgent matters. They generously supply bottled water and toiletries. Only 5min walk to shopping and train station. We have 3 double beds 2 of which are either too soft or rock hard. It would be nice if there's tours info placed in the room.

Good stay

The room is huge- its actually a little apartment. Totally worth the price. There is a balcony, a little kitchen (fridge and microwave), a living room and a washing machine. It's very close to the MRT station and to a nice department store with a cinema. We were very happy with our stay here. Only advice- save the address in the map on your phone as the apartment is located on the corner of the street.

Hidden, but nice

I really liked staying here once I found the hotel. It seems to be targeted at local tourists and I could not find it on the address provided. What you need to do is to go around the corner and find a check-in window in the first corridor(not the first building entrance). Once that happened, everything was perfect. However, I needed a local friend to help me find it by talking to the hotel first. Well, it is not really a hotel, rather a serviced apartment. With these things in mind I highly recommend it. Location was convenient, it had a nice view and everything you need including a small kitchen, it was basically a studio unit. There's several shopping malls and MRT very nearby. Note that the check-in is only.possible during specific times, you better make sure you can make it there on time. Good for a longer stay, too much hassle for a one night in my opinion.
