This popular resort on sandy Pono Kai Beach is fronted by the famous Kapa'a Beach Bike bath and its miles and miles of shoreline. This amazing central location gives you easy access to the North, South and West shores, as well.

This 3rd floor Penthouse Garden 1 Bedroom condo in building with an elevator, then steps to the sandy oceanfront beach and swimming pool features a spacious bedroom with a King in the master bedroom, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a pull out sofa sleeper to accommodate up to 4 guests. Relax on the tropical garden view lanai and enjoy the beautiful Kauai sunrise!

Within walking distance of Pono Kai J305, you can explore the historic town of Kapa’a, with art galleries, boutiques, shops and restaurants. You’ll enjoy discovering this quaint town and taste of “old Hawaii,” that is off the beaten path.

On the first Saturday of each month, Old Kapaa Town throws itself a party. There are lots of crafts, local foods and music. The festivities start around 6:00 and start winding down around 9:00. This monthly event is lots of fun, and is well-attended by locals and visitors alike.

Be sure to stroll, jog, or ride a bike along the paved oceanfront Kapaa bike trail, fronting the Pono Kai Resort. You can rent bicycles next door. Pono Kai Resort is located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...

We stayed for 3 nights with our infant daughter. The room was clean, had AC in the family and bedroom, and was supplied with beach gear. We enjoyed the walk ability to the shore and shops. Check to make sure the pool and hot tub are open, if that’s important to you!

This condo had everything! It was probably the best stocked of any we’ve stayed, with beach toys, sunscreens, condiments, etc. The location is great, easy walk to lots of restaurants and halfway between the north and south beaches.

We have stayed in other Pono Kai condos that seemed more like a 'home'. This condo was acceptable for our purposes. Main complaint is the condo could have been cleaner. A garment from a previous guest was found behind the bedroom dresser. In our opinion, the property needs a good 'deep clean'.

Wonderful stay in Kapa’a

My partner and I stayed for about a week at this lovely resort and enjoyed every second of it. The balcony looks out over the resort with slight visibility of the ocean. The condo was clean and and fully stocked with kitchen needs as well as beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. Would definitely come back!

Exceptional Service

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not able to travel. The host checked on our travel progress often and was gracious in accommodating our misfortune. Per the contract the host was not obligated to assist us in any way and chose to do so out of kindness. For this reason I am recommending this host, as these are the kind of people I choose to spend my hard earned money to support.
