High end hotel that caters to Japanese guests. Great service. Nice property. But, no English language staff. No concierge. After telling me they donโ€™t have a concierge, they told me via an electronic translator that no one could give me any guidance on train transportation. The facility does not have a gym which I find odd given that it is a very expensive, luxury property. For those that eat at the hotel โ€” which is what we did given that nearby options are limited โ€” there is what they called a โ€œfrenchโ€ or โ€œItalianโ€ restaurant. In reality, both restaurants are fixed menu Japanese fine dining with either a French or Italian flare. I stayed in a suite with an Onsen which was very nice. So, in sum, itโ€™s a very nice hotel with great service. For the price though, I expected more. Bottom line, if you are not a Japanese speaker, you might consider other options.

The hotel room is very spacious and sparkling clean! We love the view from the onsen and balcony which is exceptionally beautiful. The food and wine served at the French restaurant is of Michelin standard. All staff members are very friendly and polite! We felt pampered during our stay!
