Good value and location. Bedroom good; toilet/shower and kitchen small
This is a well positioned one-bedroom studio apartment. It has a balcony with nice views towards Split. There is a building between the apartment and the sea which partially blocks the view the other way.
It was clean and tidy and the owner Mladen was friendly. He runs an office below the apartment so any help needed is at hand.
The bedroom is a decent size and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen and the shower room are small and quite basic
The no 37 bus (from Trogir to Split and back) runs on the main road about 200mtrs from the apartment. It is very simple to catch this bus from the airport to Kastel Kambelovac (about 15minute journey).
The restaurant (Baletna Skola) is on the coast about 800mtrs from the apartment. It serves excellent food (mainly grilled meat) and is very good value. It is right next to the beach and is very child friendly.
Split is a beautiful city and can be reached on the 37 bus for 17 kuna one way. Ferries run from there to all the nearby islands on a very regular basis during the Summer.
Trogir is also beautiful but is much smaller.
We had a very relaxing stay in early September - the beaches were shingly but good - and the sea is beautifully clear and warm. It is really a quite charming area and the apartment offers very good value for money.
