Private room in a hostel

It is just a little too far off Thamel for me, up a cracked road, you can trip up at night. But if you are looking for somewhere quiet, it is a good place. NB. I booked a private room but they do not clean it daily unless you insist. Also it was in the fourth floor, no lift. I'm getting a bit old for this. The atrium/café design is really very imaginative and the café generally good.

As a hostel experience, not much more you can ask for. Comfortable, beds are very private(I stayed in a shared room and it was still very private), inexpensive, really good restaurant, and plenty to do nearby.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The shared room are well thought out so that you don't feel cramped. Therr was plenty of storage space in the locking closet. I would have liked to have a small shelf inside my bunk to put my phone and wallet on, but overall it was a great place. The bed was comfortable, bathrooms are clean. I will come back again.
