The long, sandy beach of Agia Kyriaki is just a scenic 10-minute walk downhill, while sea taxis from the nearby harbour make it easy to explore the crystal-clear waters of the spectacular Fteri Beach. A short car ride will take you down to the beautiful Vouti beach and taverna

Zola is a quiet, authentic hamlet with four excellent local tavernas to enjoy—one right on the beach, Anna’s Café near the harbour, a traditional fish restaurant by the water, and a highly regarded restaurant at the top of the village.

Inside, the villa features a bright, open-plan living space with lounge, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave and dishwasher. There are two comfortable bedrooms—one double and one twin—each with fitted wardrobes and its own en-suite shower room.

Entertainment includes a DVD player, a basic satellite box available in all rooms, and music that can be enjoyed outdoors. Both bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs with Netflix and other apps (guests will need their own accounts).

All was nice. Hard to find and there is an electrical current or shock in the shower from the water hose. Probably needs to be checked. Also one ac unit was not working.

Just had a 9 night stay here and really enjoyed it. The villa is very well equipped and in a beautiful location. The villa and pool was a perfect size for our family. It offered us the privacy we needed as my 15 year old son is autistic. The local restaurant and nearby harbour area was lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here. A hire car is a must so you can explore the rest of the island and stock up on food from the supermarket, which is about a 15min drive away.

Some potential but badly managed

Once passed the troubles finding the property due to lack of sign (see other reviews) and the troubles opening the front door, my wife and daughter discovered : No Wi-Fi No TV: not working and sceen badly scratched all over its surface No shower head on one shower While the shower head and front door were fixed the day after (a trick was provided to open the front door, although 2 poeple are required), it took 5 days for someone to bring a Hotspot for the Wi-Fi and the TV was never fixed. When Hotspot was finally provided, we were told to use it carefully, ie not to download films etc. Eventually the internet cable was fixed (7 days after arrival!), although the speed would not allow to watch download films. A new TV was brought in after 5 days, left on its plastic, and still wouldn't work as no hdmi cable was provided (the old scratched tv used scart connection, absent on the new tv). Although we weren't too upset by not being able to watch TV/films on holiday, we needed Wi-Fi, notably for work. All these features were clearly advertised and confirmed orally, but very little effort were made to fix them when notified to owner. Considering the rental price, one would expect better management/services, needless to say that no small courtesy refunds were offered. Wouldn't go back there unfortunately.

Wonderful views and exceedingly comfortable villa.

Zola is a delightful and very quiet corner of Kefalonia. The villa is tucked away and is not overlooked,it is great having the pool which we used frequently, and the washing machine was a bonus. The villa is easy to live in and we appreciated the mid week linen change. It would have been helpful to have signage from the road to the villa. Thank you a lovely stay and family reunion.

UNS HAT ES SEHR GEFALLEN! Private und ruhige Umgebung. Schönes Haus und gute Ausstattung (Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler top). Guter Ausgangspunkt für Bootstouren (Bootsvermietung im nahen Hafen). Nicht geeignet für Gehbehinderte (Treppe). Zufahrt und Parkplatz sehr schmal. Zum optimieren: Mehr Schatten (beispielsweise Sonnensegel). Deckenventilatoren in Schlafraum. Mehr Geschirr in Küche. ——————————————— WE REALLY LIKED IT! Private and quiet environment. Nice house and good equipment (washing machine and Dishwasher top). Good starting point for boat trips (boat rental in smal harbor). Not suitable for disabled people (stairs). Access and parking very narrow. To optimize: More shade (eg sun sails). Ceiling Fan in bedroom. More dishes in the kitchen.
