Super cute boutique hotel, impeccably clean, cool bar and restaurant. 15 min walk to the tram, which runs every 12 minutes, and it's 30 min to the center of old town Strasbourg.

The woman at reception was lovely, very nice. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was spotless. The decor almost made us throw up however. I know they are themed rooms, but classy would have been much nicer than cheap and cheesy. We got the "Hilde" room, based on a movie with Heike Makatsch. The carpets were shag and hot pink (and old and worn) and the headboard was a bunch of fake plastic hot pink flowers

The Hotel was very cozy and cute. Was very clean and rooms were nice and updated. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. Only a 15 minutes walk to the tram and from there another 20min with the tram to Strasbourg. Very easy to find.

Staff were very friendly. Even if we forgot our keys in the room, they helped us to get back in even if it was Christmas night without complaining or issueing any fines/extra costs. A lot of money spent on visual art but insufficient staff for late arrivals, early check-out, nor any food for late travelers in spite of advertisement for dining, with doors shuttered to reception and restaurant and no restaurants close by. We had three issues with the hotel. First, it’s 900 yards from the nearest tram stop which is the only way to explore Strasbourg and the rest of Kehl. There was no mention of that in the material we reviewed prior to booking. Second, the size of the room. We booked a comfort double which was supposed to be 237 SF. There’s no way room 62 is that size. Third, their pricing is out of whack for a property with no proximity to notable sights. $18 for a run of the mill breakfast buffet. $18 for a gin and tonic. Really!

Disappointing Stay with Cleanliness

My experience during this stay was disappointing. Upon entering the room, I found that the toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned, as there were noticeable remnants in the WC. Additionally, I didn’t receive the check-in code prior to my arrival, which caused unnecessary challenges and delays during the check-in process. To top it off, the TV in the room didn’t work, and I couldn’t turn it on despite multiple attempts.

Déçue de l'hôtel !! J'avais vu de très bons avis ce qui m'a poussé à reserver là mais grosse déception. Le seul point positif était la propreté de la salle de bains sinon énormement de poussière sur les tables de nuit. Avoir un coussin qui n'est pas un coussin car vous êtes directement la tête sur le lit horrible pour dormir (nous n'avons pas dormi) Nuit horrible également avec des rideaux aucunement couvrant ! Même la nuit avec les lampadaires ou le jour très tôt avec la lumière difficile de trouver le sommeil. Sans parler de la taille miniature de la chambre et du lit. Très mauvaise expérience globale..
