The Wheel House

Inside, the ground floor blends classic charm with a contemporary touch. A soft palette of warm neutrals is beautifully accented by soothing blue fabrics and throws, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere for your holiday stay.



The kitchen exudes rustic charm, enhanced by fresh ticking fabrics and country-inspired finishes. You will also find the oil fired boiler inside of the kitchen. The adjoining dining space comfortably seats eight, making it ideal for shared meals and lively conversations. As The Wheel House can be booked alongside the neighbouring Mill Cottage, this dining area offers a wonderfully versatile space for gathering everyone together for cosy evening dinners and plenty of convivial chatter.



French doors lead out to a spacious open garden, where you can unwind while watching the gentle wanderings of inquisitive wildlife or listening to the cheerful twitter of birdsong—a perfect spot to reconnect with nature.



The cottage boasts two en-suite bedrooms—one king-size and one twin—both immaculately presented with crisp linens and thoughtful finishing touches to ensure a restful night’s sleep.



For families and groups, the addition of a separate games room, complete with table tennis and table football, provides entertainment for all ages—especially on rainy days or relaxed evenings in.



For larger groups or those holidaying together, The Wheel House can be booked alongside The Mill House (sleeping four) and Woodman’s Cottage (sleeping two). All three cottages are conveniently located next to each other, offering the perfect combination of privacy and shared space.

As a guest of this cottage, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
