I have stayed here four times and have been pleased. I enjoy walking around the Island which I feel is very safe. Plenty of safe parking. Room and bed comfortable. My room had not yet been updated. Hotel is undergoing renovation. My hall had not been updated and the carpet was worn. I feel I got a very fair price for the not updated room.

The staff is very welcoming and they do their best to offer a clean lodging. The building is older and at the end of the pier which have several people parking and lingering. Overall the stay was uneventful but I did not feel safe walking my dog after dark.

The location is great, the hotel just needs an update. It was made in the 70s and it's just naturally time to work on it. It is being renovated tho. Maybe do some landscaping around the building after the renovations are done. Maybe update some of the lamps or something. IDK. There can be a fine line between character and updates needed. And I really like character even if it's not exactly my taste.

Clover Island Inn is an iconic place in Kennewick which is where I’m from. Even tho it’s not a five star property I still love the setting on the Columbia River and views of the cable bridge and enjoy staying there.

Nice little place, you can hear what is happening in the hallways and hallways can hear you as well! But not a big shocker spent 2 nights so didn’t feel unsafe and everyone super friendly and happy.

Barely got any sleep as the Coast Guard across the road in the marina fired up their boat every 20 minutes at what sounded like full throttle outrageously loud engines all night long finally called the front desk at about three in the morning. They said they didn’t know there was any noise. There was nothing we can do about it, which is probably true. I’ve always had a decent day with no issues previously hope this isn’t an ongoing thing… Disappointed

Our first room smelled of urine. Requested a different room. Was told we were upgraded to a river view. This room was acroos the hall from first room. This room had a funky smell as well. The complimentary breakfast was not pleasing to the eye. Items included sausage, biscuits, gravy, precooked waffles, bread, and bagels. Prepackaged cereal and oatmeal. The orange and apple jyice were in little plastic cups. The breakfast used to be much better. We have stayed here many times over the years and this is worst experience here. We will not book here again.

The staff was really friendly and the location was picturesque. However, the rooms were a bit dated, my tv would make a loud buzzing sound when on, and I could hear every little sound coming from outside the hotel.

The location of the hotel is great. At one time, I'm sure this was a wonderful place to stay. There are remnants of a restaurant, a cocktail lounge and a breakfast facility; only the later is available. The hotel is somewhat rundown at this point. BUT... right now, half of the hotel is being remodeled! Hopefully this will bring it back to it's full potential.
