Easy access from highway. We booked a pet friendly room and charged a $250 deposit on top of a room rate of $445. The room was very small and not at all what we expected based on the pictures. We stayed at Comfort Inn Regina the night before in identical room for $160 with a $50 pet deposit. It seems the non-pet rooms were featured in advertising and are much more spacious. This feels discriminatory and misleading. We will not stay here again.

Clean, comfortable stay with helpful staff

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kenora in mid-July after booking last minute. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable—especially the king-sized bed, which made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel staff were attentive and quick to respond to our requests for extra towels and linens for the pull-out couch, which we appreciated. Check-in was efficient, although the front desk agent could have been a bit more welcoming. That said, the overall service was good. The room rate felt a little high for the amenities offered, but that’s to be expected in Kenora during peak summer season. All in all, it was a solid stay and we’d consider staying again when in town.

The AC for room 245 is very noise. It was rattling intermittently (every 8-10 minutes). The noise is very disturbing to say the least. We have to stop talking until the rattling noise stops, otherwise we won’t hear each other. We came to Kenora for my son’s treatment and we paid around $430 for one night. My son didn’t sleep through the night as the noise was unbearable. I guarantee you that this room won’t pass an inspection by the city to be consider as a hotel room. I would not recommend this room for pets let alone human beings.

No thanks not for that price

I stayed for 7 nights as a work crew and room never got cleaned once? I get that everyone is short staffed but if someone is paying $330 per night and needs to clean their own room, take out their own garbage and have to go ask for coffee, towels, garbage bags, and soaps, after putting in a 12 hour work day, it is unacceptable. No pool, no hot tub, no gym, no restaurant but a premium price. No thanks!
