I don’t like giving negative reviews but here I go. As soon as we entered the room, the smell of Pin- Sol, or other cleaner, nearly knocked us out. It didn’t go away during our overnight stay. The back window was broken so it couldn’t be locked. The air conditioner was very old and loud, and limited in usefulness. An outdoor light kept going on and off all night. The shade for door did nothing to block out this light. We put a towel over the shad, still no luck. Our sleep was ruined. Extremely disappointing considering the price we paid!?!?! Wow. Should be illegal.

The property looked great from the outside, and the room was reasonably clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Unfortunately, the front desk staff made me feel like just another number, offering very little in the way of friendliness or personalized service. Talking to them always made me feel like there was something more important than me. There was no effort to leave a lasting impression or give me a reason to choose this place again.

Not what I expected and wasn’t worth the 300$+ a night that’s for sure. Problem with AC unit, breaker popped Also pretty dirty outside there was like 3 years of spiderwebs stacked just outside the door for the room. Oh well was last minute and didn’t do my do diligence so it’s my fault.

Our room was clean, bedding was good. We had a problem with our TV which was due to a previous guest unplugging things and the staff fixed it quickly for us! The Inn was a solid 4 star!

We stayed here for three nights. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly but front desk hours limited. The restaurant is now only open in the evening for takeout. We would stay here again

Room was good.however floor was sticky from too much cleaner been mixed with the water when they mopped I cleaned with a couple of towels and they were not white after. floors could use a good cleaning . Overall good stay 👍

This place has a load of potential! It has lovely courtyards and has clearly been renovated recently. Staff at the main desk were polite and welcoming. The room had a strong odour of cleaning products so bad that my chest was burning even after airing the room out. The room came with a balcony overlooking the lake with a cute little table and 2 chairs.

They would not answer our calls or respond to emails concerning our cancelation or trying to rebook to the next night due to a road closure and us not being able to get there that night. I wasn't expecting a refund but it would have been nice to be able to cancel and rebook for the next night. Our other hotel we booked in Terrace Bay the Red Dog Inn were very accommodating. Quite a different experience with them. We need to change nights with them as well as the road closure delayed our trip.

I stay every year at the Timberland the rooms are large and clean. Keewatin Beach is just around the corner. The staff are welcoming and cleaning staff are amazing. If your lucky to stay in the back side it is quiet. We will be back next summer

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very nice. We brought our dog and had no issues. The room was had good sleeping conditions dark and cool. No issues. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a run-down property at a Premium price. Not at all what I was expecting. Place is falling apart and being maintained poorly. Room had an odor. Pillows were hard. Not sure it can be brought up to a decent level without a complete gutting.

Property is dated but maintained in good condition. Room as large, furniture was well used(beds especially). Updated bathroom was for the most part fresh and clean (toothpaste left in the sink,tub is slippery with no hand rail), room had a strong odour of a cleaning or fragrance smell. Over all pricey for what you get.
