Welcome to Niksen Den, a modern sanctuary designed for the Dutch art of doing nothing. Perched over a babbling creek on 3 wooded acres, this stylish 650 sq ft retreat blends wood, stone, and metal interiors. Unwind in the hot tub, cedar sauna, or by the firepit. Inside, cozy up to the wood-burning stove or enjoy the spa-like double rain shower. Just minutes from Callicoon and Bethel, this is the ultimate upstate escape.

We are centrally located in the sweet spot of the Catskills. You are just a short 10-minute drive to the best towns in the region:
* Callicoon: Great farmers market and movie theater.
* Jeffersonville: Charming Main Street with bakeries.
* Bethel: Home of the original Woodstock festival site & Bethel Woods.
* Narrowsburg: trendy shops and Delaware River views.

You will have exclusive, private access to the entire cabin, the sauna, the hot tub, and the surrounding 3 acres of creekside woodlands.

Niksen Den is a custom-designed, 650 sq ft modern cabin that harmonizes with nature. The interiors feature a striking mix of warm wood ceilings, cool metal wall accents, and slate stone flooring.

The heart of the cabin features a cozy wood-burning stove perfect for chilly evenings. A large picture window frames the forest, bringing the outdoors in while you relax on the modern furnishings.

A fully equipped chef’s kitchen features rich wood cabinetry, open shelving, and stainless steel appliances. It’s perfect for brewing morning coffee or preparing a meal to enjoy alfresco.

Upstate New York is most accessible by car. There is ample parking in our driveway.

Noise: While we are tucked into the woods, the property is located near a road. You may hear occasional cars passing.
