No staff available; except at cafe. Facilities could use improvement as there was a lot of debris laying around. Disappointed about no coffee Machine or any service except for purchase at tiny counter. Floors in bedroom were dirty, our feet were black from dirt. Other B&B houses we have stayed at were cleaner and more pleasant.

Great location just off Duval Street, and the sound of the bands late at night is to be expected. Good Internet, OK heating unit, OK bed. However, the owners need to do some serious upgrades, or seriously drop the price to reflect the condition of the property. The door to our room had multiple large cracks in it, the shades were broken, there were no blankets on the bed - just a sheet-thickness coverlet, despite the 50 degree nights, and the placement of the sink made it impossible to use without splattering water on the floor. The property is not staffed, more like a VRBO, with a number to call for assistance. There was someone there working on the TV connection, and he kindly helped us with luggage up steep steps. We were there 3 nights with no change of towels or contact with housekeeping. The signage is very confusing, doesn’t give much instruction, and doesn’t align at all with the property website. Coffee? Breakfast? Cocktails? Figure it out for yourself (and don’t expect much.) Despite the room being ready earlier - we could see it - our entry code wouldn’t work until exactly 4:00, so be aware if your flight lands earlier, which many do, you will have to leave your luggage in a dining room which is completely unsecured and unattended until 4:00. Location is the primary reason to stay at this inn (and the rocking chairs on the porch, which are lovely.)

Rare cool nights in Jan left freezing room. No extra blankets. Could not turn heat on , thermostat defaulted back to cool air . Went through 2 nights like that

I like staying at the mansion because the location is amazing! It’s obviously very outdated and could use a little sprucing up but that doesn’t bother me. We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay

You are paying strictly for location at this property (over $600 a night). The building needs some major renovations… a bit run down and tired looking. We couldn’t even get a cup of coffee in the morning at the hotel. There was an outlet in the room with no cover. Carpet was stained. Stairs up to the second floor were not well lighted. Parking was very limited. On the plus side it is very close to the downtown area… but it’s really lacks in basic needs.

The people above ou unit partied until 4 am both nights we were there. The bars were blasting music which you could hear directly in our window as well. The staff did little to negate the issue above us.

Severe disappointment

The property is in need of updating. Our room had nasty carpet. Just in general not nice. I love older homes but this choice was a mistake. Even had an electrical outlet with no cover.

Great stay next to Duval Street

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Curry Mansion Inn! It was very conveniently located next to all of the action of Duval Street so we were able to park our car on site and walk to most of the places we visited on Key West. Contactless check-in was easy. The heated pool was a great spot to relax. The only negatives were that we did not have coffee in our room and the coffee bar on site was a little expensive. And the downside of being so close to Duval Street was that the music from the nearby bars could be heard in our room into the night. But the convenience far outweighs those items and we would stay here again!

Run Down Inn in a Party Location

The Inn operates more as an Airbnb. There is no front desk that we were aware of and your code (delivers via email the day before) opens the door at 4pm. Luggage can be stored in one of the first level front rooms if you arrive early. First the good, right off Caroline street, steps from the action on Duval, in the heart of it all. The (haunted) mansion does have charm and a cool vibe. We enjoyed the rocking chairs to hang out on the front porch. We stayed in the main house. The lighting is dim at best and the wall paper is pealing as you walk to the second floor. Our room was small but had the essentials, including a mini fridge. Our room had access to the large second story balcony, which we took full advantage of. Now the not so great, the (king) bed! The bed was AWFUL! You could see it sagging in the middle before you even sat down. I’m quite certain my college dorm matters was vastly better. For the amount we paid, I would expect much a better mattress. Second, the noise! Staying in a prime location comes at a price and that price is loud thumping and base until 3:30am over the weekend. Finally, the lack of service. I believe we were given some fresh towels over our 4 day stay (and found towels near the pool) but never once did someone take out our trash. We had a great trip but I would not return to the Inn or recommend it to friends.
