This was the smallest, oldest and outdated room we have ever seen. The mini fridge was literally on the floor. The TV didn't work, requested repair and maintenance was there immediately. It took maintenance a while along with three calls for support and finally got it working, but only for a short time. Gave up on getting the TV fixed. The halls smelled horrible. The breakfast was good. I can't personally recommend this hotel and won't stay there again.

I made my reservation online and liked that it had a breakfast buffet and that I could reserve and pay later at check in. When we went to check in, I wanted to pay with cash as I was trying to avoid using any credit cards or debit cards as I had budgeted those for only pay at the pump purchases. I was told it would be $100 deposit if I paid with cash, so I had to transfer money from my son's bank account in order to cover the cost of the room. I also thought that the room was small, the bathroom was very small. The shower curtain rod curved upward at each side and I am very short, so I was not able to close the shower curtain completely, so it sprayed water everywhere. The shower curtain was fabric, so it was soaking wet after taking a shower. The position of the toilet paper holder was in a very awkward place to be able to reach comfortably. Overall, the room was not worth the cost. The breakfast was ok, but not great. There was not a lot of room to park and you could only park in one direction so you had to go to the end of the parking area to turn around in order to get out of the parking lot. Overall, I would not spend the money to stay there again.

This is a nice hotel to stay for a night, I couldn’t do any longer than that, my husband and I couldn’t even walk at the same time the rooms are so small and the beds are hard as a rock. You get what you pay for here.

Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly, breakfast was hot every morning and the grounds were gorgeous. We paid for the mt rushmore view and it was INCREDIBLE. The view all around was just breathtaking and so conveniently close to basically anything you could need.
