This condo needs some serious uodating. I’ll start with the pros: location was amazing and can walk to mountain house or village. That made it worth all the other hassle. They were also very communicative with us and allowed us to check in early. Master bathroom has a steam shower which was amazing to take each day and help out humidity into the room. Cons: you can clearly see it is outdated by the decor, what we didn’t expect was the outdating of functions. The first night we were freezing a there is a lack of blankets. The next day we realized there are like 6 space heaters in the condo. The only way to heat the condo is using space heaters. This seems like a fire hazard but it was the only way to heat the condo. Furthermore, if you tried to do anything else’s while eating it would blow a breaker (tv, dishwasher, laundry, etc). The ice maker didn’t work. The knob on the oven is worn off and we had to guesstimate what the oven temp was set at. A simple knob seems easy and cheap to replace. We got locked out one night and the code wouldn’t work. Fortunately someone was in the condo to let us in. But they were responsive to give us a new code. Hot tub didn’t work so we used the neighbors hot tub (the same code will work). In the end, we laughed each day about something new going wrong. Especially the space heaters and breakers. But the location made up for all the trouble we experienced. But be sure to pack some blankets and be prepared to stay bundled up!
