23 Marsh Cottage Lane is a luxury 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom private Kiawah Island vacation home located in Vanderhorst Plantation This newly updated home features inspiring interiors, a beautifully furnished screened porch, a sun deck with a gas grill and tranquil marsh views, all just a short bike ride from Kiawah Islands scenic beaches and world-class golf courses. The beach is just a 7 minute walk or short bike-ride away!

Enter the home to an open floor plan with a large upscale kitchen offering a free standing gas range, stainless appliances and plenty of counter space for food prep. Passing into the arched great room, you'll find a dining table with seating for 8 before flowing into the heart of the living room accented by a large stone fireplace with a mounted television. A cozy den with another TV and couch extends the living space offering plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day at the beach.

This beautiful Vanderhorst Plantation vacation home comfortably accommodates 8 guests in 3 bedrooms offering a restful private retreat. Each includes an en-suite bathroom, marsh views, a television and plenty of separation from the other bedrooms. The master suite is located on the first level, off the great room and occupies the entire right wing of the house. It has a private porch, vaulted ceilings, a king bed, a large master bath with his and her vanity, a free standing tub, as well as a walk-in shower with glass enclosure. Across the great room, a second bedroom with another king bed and private bath takes its claim to the left side of the main floor and adjoins a large open deck that is shared with the great room. Climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor you'll find a small sitting area as well as the third bedroom with 2 double beds, an attached bath, vaulted ceilings and complete privacy by itself on the 2nd floor.,

The Vanderhorst Plantation is a private paradise nestled between East Beach Village and Ocean Park on Kiawah Island. This tranquil plantation boasts maritime forests, marshlands and lagoons, beautiful stretches of beaches and an abundance of wildlife away from the crowds for a true barrier island getaway.

You’re perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Kiawah Island’s championship golf only minutes away at the pristine Osprey Point Golf Course and Peter Dye’s Ocean Course, or a short drive away from Turtle Point or Cougar Point Golf Course. Vanderhorst Plantation is only 4 miles from the top attractions of East Beach Village including Night Heron Park, Kiawah Nature Center, the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and luxury dining and shopping at The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Excellent Home for our beach vacation

Our family of five enjoyed our time at Kiawah as we always do, and it was made even better by this very beautiful home. The home is spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, there were fun games that we enjoy playing available, comfortable beds, great bathrooms with a short and fun bike ride to the beach and Osprey Golf Course right across the street which has a very good restaurant open for lunch and supper. An information sheet with WiFi password, Neighborhood rules, maybe a little direction on how to find the beach, etc. would have been nice to have, but the property management company was very responsive and pleasant. We would definitely come back to this home again.
