ALOHA and welcome to our unit in Wailea Ekolu, A two bedroom, two bath condominium on the ground floor. Our condo is located in the beautiful, lush, and spacious Wailea Ekolu Village. Ekolu is located in the five-star resort area of WAILEA. Our condo sleeps up to 6 and has it all! Stainless steel appliances, bathrooms (new toilets, showers, tub, sinks, new granite throughout), and new floors (Beautiful wood-looking tile floors-easy clean). There are AC units in the living room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom.
Open the screens for the lovely evening Maui breezes. Our Ekolu unit allows you to relax and sink in the calm spirit of Maui.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, cooking utensils, basic seasonings, kitchen electrics (toasters, coffee maker, tea kettle, teapot, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc). You will be provided with all the basics to start your trip off right and relaxed!

The condo is located just 16.5 miles from Kahului Airport. Grocery stores, including a Safeway, are located just north of Wailea in Kihei. Here you will find inexpensive restaurants, movie theaters, and brand name stores.

Ekolu Village offers two solar-heated pools, charcoal barbecue areas with picnic tables, and a recreation room with a sharing library. We have an electric barbecue on our lanai.

THE GREAT THING ABOUT OUR UNIT: is we have NO SIDE NEIGHBORS to the right of us, which provides even more privacy. GROUND FLOOR UNIT--GREAT FOR FAMILIES. Just one minute down the garden path from our Condo is Manoli's pizza restaurant, Snorkel Bob's (where you can schedule your Maui adventures or rent gear) and an Urgent Care Clinic. Five minutes down the lush garden path are the Shops at Wailea, and through the Wailea Promenade, you will hit all the Five Star Resort Hotels-ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. We are a short, less than five-minute drive or 10-minute walk to warm sandy beaches, where you can relax on the beach, snorkel, boogie board, and build sand castles.

FOR YOU GOLF LOVERS: Ekolu Village neighbors the World Renowned Wailea Blue Golf Course.

FOR YOU TENNIS PLAYERS: The Wailea Tennis Club is located in close proximity to our condo. You cannot get better than this in terms of location and convenience!


PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately because this is a tropical island pests are a common occurrence which is why we specifically mention it. The guest must understand that Hawaii is located in a tropical climate and that insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. Although we will use our best efforts to hold to a minimum your interaction with these pests during your stay, Guests must understand that any contact by the guest with such a pest within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of the rental policy.

Excellent place to stay

This condo was in an excellent location and had everything we needed for our two week stay. We cooked a lot so we appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The owner was very helpful and got back to us quickly when we had questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit.

Fantastic location. Very convenient to best beaches in Maui. Very safe environment.

We stayed for six nights and the condo was a perfect spot for hanging out at the beach and snorkling. We did drive to the beach, but you can walk. Fantastic for walking to local coffee shop and the shops at Wailea.

Great spot close to all in wailea

You won’t be sorry. The two master bedrooms work so well for those traveling with another couple as we were. The air conditions worked great tho a bit noisy which is to be expected with window air conditions. Have fun as this is a chillaxing great place to enjoy this side of the island , it’s resorts and beaches!!!

This property is in a good location except the closest pool was closed the entire month of April! It is a trek up the hill to the only other pool. Unit itself is worn and not as pristine as photos appear. Closets were stuffed full, sheet in particular were worn, the kitchen had lots of cabinet chips, and outdoor chairs were warped and cushions worn. Overall, it just felt tired.

Perfect location for beaches, shopping, food!

This is ideal for 2 couples or small family that wants to be in the middle of it all! Loved that there was a great coffee shop a very short walk from the back door. Also within walking distance to beaches great restaurants, shopping and golfing! The condo had everything we needed for going to the beach with chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler, towels! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked! Highly recommend this condo! Thank you!!

Perfect home in paradise

Great location, comfortable accommodations, beautiful views, and quiet. Family of 5 stayed here for 2 weeks including two teenage boys and our 5 year old girl. Loved having 2 separate twin beds for the boys and a pull out couch for our daughter. Walking distance to shopping and just down the road from lots of restaurants. The inside of the condo is beautifully furnished and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We love Maui and can't wait to come back.

Easy condo by Grand Wailea

This was an easy condo with everything you would need. 10-15 minutes to Ulua beach and 10 minutes through Grand Wailea to Wailea beach. Well appointed, easy to use and nice space.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in Feb 2020. We found the location to be perfect as we could walk to the Wailea Blue golf course, Shops at Wailea and shopping. The beach entrance was a little further so we drove it since we needed chairs and gear. The condo was a little dated but very well stocked with kitchen appliances, cooking utensils and pans. We had beach gear, chairs , snorkeling gear and towels. We had one issue with the coffee pot and management had a replacement for us that day. The view from the lanai was incredible. (bring binoculars). We could watch the whale while sitting at our dinning table on the lanai. The grounds were impeccable. Its a bit of a walk to the pool but we didn't use that much anyway. The only negative was that the upstairs neighbor who is a permanent resident ran their a/c unit 24-7. The unit is located just outside of our lanai and was loud, clangy and rattled and buzzed. The peacefulness was disturbed by that a/c unit. After about a week we started to get used to it and were able to ignore it somewhat. We didn't even use our a/c as it really wasn't needed. The fresh air and cool evenings were very comfortable. All in all, I would recommend this unit and will most likely stay again. Thank you.

January vacation

This property is in a great location, the lanai always has plenty of shade. It is a .6 mile walk to the beach. Property manager and owner were very helpful. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, and beach chairs are in closet. Plenty of kitchen supplies. You are within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and coffee shop. The only negative is the construction noise, but that will be over after next door project is done.

Enjoyable stay

Overall good experience. Great pool above (never found the second one if it exists). We experienced 2 days of occasional construction work but bearable. Screens would need upgrade including entrance. Good washing machine and dryer. Closeness to the shops and great coffee terrace ideal. Barbecue ok but needed to cut others light to avoid fuse jumps. We knew this was a no pet flat but we were visited occasionally by two wonderful cats! AC’s noisy but fans ok. Missing can opener, so we borrowed from our daughter’s flat in Ekawi! Parking great. The layout was great for three adults with two good rooms and two bathrooms and a good hide bed in the living room ! Altogether we enjoyed our stay! Merci Nadine!

Great Location but VERY NOISY condo!

Condo was on plaza parking lot, next to construction of a hotel. Every room has 1-2 louvred slats windows which let in all the noise outside. Had to sleep with earphones ! Very disappointing !
