The charm and warm feel of this hotel is unbeatable. The staff here treats you like family. The breakfast and bar is phenomenal! Will definitely stay here again next trip to Kilkenny

Unfortunately, we were delayed on our arrival and noted too late that check-in is only until 8 pm unless the hotel is notified in advance. We did not know in advance that we would be delayed. Although, this is our fault for not noting the detail, as international travelers, who had paid in advance, it would have been nice to have been contacted by the hotel when we had not arrived to see if there was an issue or if we needed assistance.

Great little hotel with lots of history. Stayed there with International Kilkenny Chess Tournament was taking place. Was entertaining. 😁 The staff were really friendly and helpfull. Coffee could be stronger 😉 One request, You could identify parking before arrival. Make check-in easier.
