They had a crows nest type deck to sit and enjoy the water which was great. We went in March so still chilly. We will opt for 2nd or 3rd floor next time. They had wine and cheese at 4pm and continental breakfast at 8 am-ish. Flies made cheese and crackers part unappealing and it was not even available first night. Continental breakfast was ehhhh. Most options were past sell date. Mike greated us when we got there and showed us around. Super nice. Would have liked to have a list of restaurants open in the area since it was off season and we hadn't been there before. It was cute and looked as being recently updated, but needs a few more tweeks especially first floor where we were. Still would go back.

Great place all around

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I booked three nights originally and ended up staying an extra night, the location is central to most places, stores, restaurants etc. It’s right on the beach, which I love. There were breakfast snacks in the kitchen area every morning and happy hour at 4 every evening. Even with other visitors, we never heard them moving throughout the house so each suite has its privacy. It was clean and all amenities were provided. I would recommend this place to anybody, anytime of year. It was very easy to contact the agency responsible for the place too. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It was our first time visiting the OBX and we will definitely be back.

They were under construction outside but they did not work while we were there, pool construction not complete yet. Someone had logged off from the television channels, but we did not request anyone come and fix it. I am sure they would have! Great stay!

Clean room. Poor parking set up for a pickup, no way it accommodates more than one. Big inconvenience to back out from any spot, just too short. Only way to have privacy in room 2 was to put one of the extra blankets over the sliding glass door otherwise people can see right into the entire room. The curtain does NOT cover all of this window that is right by the bed!! No place to put suitcases but in the floor!!! At least have a table large enough to accommodate one large suitcase. Lastly, the automatic light that pops on in the middle of the night when you go to the bathroom is ANNOYING!!! I put two band aides over the sensor to stop this but then the stupid thing shuts off automatically when you do need light. Ridiculous. If you do not mind these issues, the location is good and the place is clean.

The bed had a plastic liner on it- which I understand is to protect the mattress. It does create an uncomfortable sleeping status with sweating and limited breathing for the body. Under the website it showed this location having a hot tub and it does not. The tv doesn’t have any channels either.
